Sizing notes

  • The bracelet is drawn as part of the case, so there is no lug width to match and no catalogue band will go in. A strap is still possible: it is cut and fitted on the watch in the atelier, from the case measurements taken by hand. Why no strap fits an integrated bracelet →

Why no standard band fits this one

On the Breguet Reine de Naples 8918BB/2N/764/D00D the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: the first link continues the case profile instead of sitting in a gap between two lugs. There is no lug width to match, so there is no size to order, and a band bought by millimetres will not go in whatever the number.

It is not a rare way to build a watch. 2,640 references in the database are built this way, and across every brand it is 5.7% of the catalogue. What replaces the bracelet is a band cut to this case, shaped to close the opening the way the bracelet did.
