What an integrated bracelet is

On a conventional watch the band sits in a gap between two lugs, held by a spring bar, and any band of the right width fits. On an integrated design the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: the first link continues the case profile, the shape of the opening belongs to that model alone, and often there is no straight gap at all.
